I’ve been writing since I can remember. “Back in the day” is was on paper in notebooks or with a typewriter. Later, it was on my Commodore-64. I’ve written everything from short stories to avant garde poetry to newletter articles. I once wrote an op-ed piece for the Stars and Stripes newspaper decrying what I considered their terrible grammar, only to have it returned by the Chief Editor covered in red ink.
I started blogging 2004 on the Musings of Řehoř, which is a collection of my written babblings on whatever comes to my head – some of it is even coherent. Most of my efforts are now on The Crossing of Marketing and IT, which is more serious and business-oriented covering topics such as leadership, web marketing, social media and other subjects I thing would be helpful to my business readers.
I’ve wanted to attend Blogathon since I heard about the first one. Unfortunately, up until now conflicts in my schedule have prevented me from going. I’m looking forward to going and meeting up with people I only have met through Twitter, seeing those I don’t get to meet up with very often, and sharing information with some wicked smart people. It’s going to be a great event.
