My name is David C. Wells, and I blog at wellslawoffice.com and several other places. From 2002 until not too long ago, the bulk of my energies were directed towards running a solo law practice in such areas as business and family law. Today, I am looking towards life’s next adventure.
I started blogging in 2007 or so, then took a break due to Facebook addiction. I started posting to my “law blog” in earnest in March 2011. I blog about legal issues, animal welfare, entertainment, unusual goings-on in my own life, and whatever else catches my eye at any given moment. Legal issues fascinate me, and I enjoy looking at the news of the day from a legal standpoint. I can quote extensively from “The Simpsons” and the “Game of Thrones” books.
I am attending #BlogathonATX to meet cool people, learn cool things, learn some new blogging skills, and hopefully take a further step in my quest for adventure. Also, you had me at donuts.
I have a beautiful 6 year-old dog named Zeta, two cats who live under my house named Shadow and Ghost, and a strange fascination with octopi. In high school, I saw Michael W. Smith live in concert twice in one summer, and I am still recovering from that. I once ran a mile in 5 minutes and 36 seconds, but only once. I do improv, and I wrote a musical that was seen by about 1,200 people over four shows. I enjoy talking about myself. I make myself laugh, and I make others go “hmmmmmmmmm.”
