I am a blogger from a small country called Pakistan, who runs 9to5LOL.com, a humor blog with more than 100,000 registered users, also, the co-founder of Gagism.com. Many people associate my country with bombs and Taliban, yet I continue to bring at least 300,000 smiles everyday, the number equaling the number of page views my blog serves everyday. Being from such a place and yet being the owner of a considerably big humor blog, I sometimes feel the scarcity of networking opportunities around me. I wish to meet big bloggers from across the globe, learn from them what great work they’re doing, how they’re contributing with their blogs, and so forth. In my pursuit to see this happen, I’m writing this post, hoping to get a chance to meet some gurus back in the States. More than the food or ambiance, why I want to attend Blogathon is the networking. Every time I’ve met a new guru, things have changed altogether for me. This could be another such happening. Or may be not.
