Community and collaboration are at the heart of what we do. Every year as our team plans BlogathonATX, we keep in mind some very specific requirements; few of which revolve around sitting down and writing. BlogathonATX is more than just a conference—it’s a lifestyle.
None of this half-day stuff. Four hours does not an “athon” make. It is important for BlogathonATX to be worthy of its name, so we encourage attendees to move in for the day. Bring your favorite sippy cup and headphones; pack up your laptop or legal pads; get a babysitter for the kids/pets. Most importantly, be sure to dress comfortably in your finest snackin’ pants. (You’ll thank us later.)
No PowerPoint. We’ve bent that rule from time to time, but the goal is for our sessions to be purely Q&A with heavy audience participation. We’re not interested in “speakers”—we want conversation!
Receive personal assistance from professionals in technology, design and more. Our tech support and individual website reviews allow attendees to sit down with one of our team members for personalized help. We even have a good cop/bad cop duo running website reviews in the Room for Improvement.
There must be food. LOTS of food. We’re not talkin’ chips and salsa here. Local restaurants have embraced BlogathonATX over the years and never fail to support us with fuel. Sometimes that fuel comes in the shape of a breakfast taco, sometimes cake. Usually both.
Get your tickets and get ’em soon. We sell out every year and early bird pricing ends on September 28th.
Blog on with your bad self. *ribbit*
